Crossing from England to Wales

Although we have no family connection to the castle at Powys or the Herbert family as far as I can tell, my mother's family does come from the county of Powys. Wikipedia says that "recent research suggests that Powys is the happiest place in the UK". It is beautiful and I'd love to live there. I'm having yearnings to return to "the place where I belong". Somewhere where I'm not fighting the heat all summer and wishing for green, green grass. I dream of snow and log fires, walking the dog down little lanes, and having meals in the local pub that's owned by someone who's name I know. I love Australia, but you've just got to look at the celtic skin and you know I'm not built to live here.
